Number one rule is assess don’t guess. The second part is I don’t judge. It is more important to know where you want to be, than to worry about what you are doing now.

I have been over weight and not very healthy. I have empathy. I have eaten an entire pan of brownies by myself, didn’t want to exercise, failed with fad diets, and so much more.

It is important to assess your stress level. Not just mental stress but also physical, Chemical, nutritional and others.

Stress is the stimulus to make us stronger, but more stress than we can recover from makes us weaker depleting the body of vitality and energy. I will coach you to recover and have the vitality and energy you crave.

From your assessment I can come up with a plan that will allow you to reach your goals.

Together we decide what parts to work on first and how much to do. When stress is high, energy is low, so small simple changes at first are best to reduce stress and build energy.

The most important part is regular checking in and feedback. What is working and what is not working. I will coach you through strategies to make the changes to reach your goals.

The best way to do this is with weekly or by-monthly meetings. In these meetings we will work on physical stress with massage, stretching, core work, or functional strength work depending on your needs and goals at that given time.

Why working on the physical we can talk about how the other changes you are making in your life are going and when you are ready to do new things. You will learn to manage the stresses from work, relationships, family, and yes even yourself.

It is this combination put together that will turn you into your dream self.

If I had a dollar for every time a client said I was going to be mad about eating something they know they shouldn’t have or playing an extra round of golf instead of resting a shoulder, I would have millions in the bank.

I don’t get mad. I will only coach you through the process of learning to follow the path that will lead you to your happy healthy and fit dream. It is not about being guilty, it is about learning that actions you take lead to results.

Pain Elimination

Many people have aches, pains or injuries they commonly blame on getting older.

Yes we are all aging, but it is when imbalance in the joints or homeostasis is lost in the body, pain starts creeping in.

The human body is electrical, hormonal, chemical, psychological, and physical. All of these major systems must be in balance and working together to be pain free.

I assess the entire body as a whole and together we work on restoring function to your body once again.

Deep tissue massage may be needed to hydrate the tissue so it can heal.

Stretching the strong tight muscles may be needed to balance join structures.

Strength building of weak often painful muscles is commonly needed when the tissue is ready.

When balance is restored to the painful area, total body functional movement must be used to integrate all the joints to work correctly together as one.

Your body is made from what you eat, so putting the nutrition in to heal damage tissue is also highly important.

Balance between exercise and rest is also a highly important factor that varies greatly from person to person.

I will tell you when something cannot be fixed only managed, but the earlier you start taking care of a painful situation the quicker, easier, and more likely together we can resolve the situation.

Playing with grandchildren requires some level of athletic ability.

So does completing a triathlon, playing golf, surfing, cleaning the house, or any other physical activity.

My job is to coach you to be conditioned to live life and perform the activities you love better and stay injury free.

I first assess what your current capabilities are, and then build a complete plan based on how much time you have and what you have available to reach your physical goals.

This is very different for every person.

Conditioning someone for American football is very different than conditioning someone to play golf.

No matter what your activity of choice is, you will need some amount of flexibility, strength, coordination, speed, power, stamina, total body function and above all the energy to perform at your best when you want to.

Males and females need to condition differently because they have different hormonal balances.

Tall lean people need to do different things than stockier built individuals.

Most people don’t spend enough time on recovery. Most athletes are over worked and too tired to improve and don’t even know it.

I am a world class athlete and have been for over 30 years.

I not only have the knowledge of how to condition you to reach your genetic potential.
